How effective is fisiocrem?

fisiocrem (and yes, the ‘f’ is supposed to be lower case) is often touted as an all natural topical gel that is effective for musculoskeletal pain. It is considered ‘natural’ as it contains the natural plant based ingredients of Arnica, Hypericum (St John’s Wort), Melaleuca alternifolia leaf and Calendula. This makes it a viable alternative to things like the other liniments that are on market such as Deep Heat and other brands which leave a residue on the skin and can have a powerful scent. fisiocrem does not leave a residue on the skin and does not have that powerful scent that can for some people be overwhelming.

With a number of products that we offer, such as fisiocrem, we like to keep an eye on any research that is done on it as to their effectiveness. This study from 2022 was a randomized, double-blinded and placebo-controlled trial included 200 patients with musculoskeletal pain, 100 in the intervention group receiving fisiocrem and 100 in the placebo group, receiving a similar formula without the active ingredients that are in the fisiocrem. The participants in the study applied the gel topically twice daily for 14 days in affected areas. The fisiocrem immediately reduced pain and stiffness 30 minutes after the first application and kept being superior to placebo at all time points in the study.

So, yes, the fisiocrem is an effective treatment for muscle and joint aches and other musculoskeletal causes of pain and to soother those aching feet.
